Kencana Waris was established to fill a clear need: families dealing with inheritance matters often find legal processes cold, confusing, and difficult to navigate at an already demanding time. We set out to change that.
Founded in Kuala Lumpur, our practice has grown steadily through word of mouth — clients who valued the way we communicated, the patience we offered, and the care we took with their family's documents and decisions. Estate matters in Malaysia are governed by a combination of legislation, including the Probate and Administration Act 1959, the Distribution Act 1958, and — for Muslim estates — the principles of Faraid and the relevant Syariah enactments in each state.
